A Dream That Led to Healing

A Life Marked by Declining Health

Amadou*, a Bambara man from a village in Mali, had always been devout in his faith. For years, he diligently followed the practices he had been taught. But his health told a different story.

Amadou suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure, and several other serious complications. He sought help wherever he could—hospitals, clinics, and traditional healers—but nothing seemed to help. Day by day, his condition worsened. Eventually, he became exhausted and began to believe his death was near.

A Dream That Would Not Fade

One night, everything changed.

In a dream, Amadou saw a man he described as looking like a pastor. The man was drinking some kind of medicine. Then Amadou heard a voice say clearly, “Go and find this man. He has the medicine that will cure you.”

When Amadou woke up, the dream stayed with him. Convinced it was significant, he began asking people around him if they recognized the man he had seen.

Searching for the Man from the Dream

After describing the man repeatedly, several people said they believed they knew who he was. They told Amadou that a man matching that description often passed by his workplace. Eventually, they led him to Moussa*, a local believer connected with Final Command Ministries.

One morning, when Moussa opened the door, Amadou was overwhelmed.
“You are the one I saw in my dream!” he exclaimed.

Prayer and the Beginning of Healing

Amadou shared the entire dream with Moussa. Moussa listened carefully and then simply prayed—asking Jesus to bring healing and to reveal Himself.

In the days that followed, something remarkable happened. Amadou began to feel strength returning to his body. One by one, the symptoms that had plagued him for years started to disappear. He returned day after day for prayer, hungry not only for healing, but for truth.

Discovering Jesus Together

Soon after, Amadou began gathering his family to read the Scriptures together in a Discovery Bible Study. As they listened to God’s Word and obeyed what they learned, Amadou encountered Jesus in a personal way. He put his trust in Christ and surrendered his life fully to Him.

Over time, Amadou was completely healed—not only from diabetes, but from every major health issue he had faced.

From Death to New Life

Today, what began as a dream has become a testimony of God’s power. A family is discovering Jesus together. A man once waiting for death is now walking in new life.

We are reminded again that God is already at work—often in ways we could never plan—inviting ordinary people to listen, obey, and follow Him.
