Victory’s Story Begins

In one Nigerian school, a young girl named Victory suffered from a recurring stomach ailment that caused her pain and discouragement. When fellow students and believers prayed for her, God responded with healing. Her pain disappeared, and her life was completely changed.

Victory couldn’t keep her story to herself. She shared her testimony with her parents, and her obedience sparked something greater — a multiplying chain of disciple-makers.

The Chain Reaction of Faith

Motivated by her healing, Victory started a Discovery Bible Study (DBS) with her friends and classmates. One of those who attended was a young man named Adammu.

As Adammu experienced transformation through Scripture, he began leading his own DBS, which included a man from the Fulani community, a people group historically difficult to reach with the gospel.

The Fulani man’s heart was moved by what he learned, and he soon began a DBS with his own Fulani friends, including a man named Shanono.

Multiplication Continues

Shanono was so inspired that he began leading his own DBS over the phone, allowing others to hear, learn, and obey God’s Word even from a distance.

What began as one girl’s healing has become a movement of multiplication — a living example of how God works through ordinary people to spread His Kingdom in extraordinary ways.

Faithful Partners and Growing Disciples

Our partners on the ground in Nigeria continue to faithfully visit, mentor, and encourage these new disciples. Through their steady presence, believers young and old are learning to walk in obedience and lead others to do the same.

We are grateful for every disciple God uses to make more disciples, and for the growing movement that began with a single story of healing and faith.
