The Two Teachers

In northern Nigeria, two teachers sensed God leading them to serve in a neighboring village. It was small and considered too dangerous and insignificant by many. But they believed God was already at work among the unreached people there, and they chose to go in obedience.
When they arrived, village leaders welcomed them with curiosity and openness. The teachers began a small school, serving the children and families while praying and fasting, asking God to reveal His purpose for their presence.
Soon, an opportunity emerged to partner with Living Water Project to provide a much-needed well for the community. When the well was completed, the village was deeply moved by this unexpected act of love and generosity. Through the teachers’ quiet service and the gift of clean water, hearts began to open. People started asking questions about Jesus and the hope they saw lived out before them.
As of today, nearly the entire village is following Jesus, and the good news of Jesus has spread to neighboring villages also once thought as unreachable.
What began with two teachers serving with purpose became a testimony of how God uses simple obedience to open doors among the unreached.
