SERVE WITH PURPOSE
This is not just serving but service which demonstrates the gospel by grace lived out. We look for and identify felt needs in the community. We want people to experience the grace of God as lived out in service for another person.
One of the major challenges in this step is a service that meets a need, whether or not people notice. It’s our hope that service with a purpose will cause others to notice these actions and allow us an opportunity to speak the gospel of grace, which we've been praying to happen.
“Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others but to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Often, serving opens up spiritual conversations which can bring forward a person of peace, provided by God.
